Yesterday Camie was telling me that she found Flopsy, the cat, laying in Dadddy's parrot patch. I asked what she meant. She said, "Where Daddy grows his parrots." I asked, "You mean his peppers?" We laughed when we realized she'd mixed up carrots and peppers.
Today we were talking about Daddy going to work and making money. Camie asked how you make money. I clarified that Daddy worked and earned money, and that making money out of paper to use in stores was against the law. She was interested to learn that some people actually do this and go to jail for it. Her conclusion: they probably write"real money" on it before they use it to pay for something, so others will think it's real. :)
I told Lissy that our pastor's wife is going to have a baby. Lissy said, "It's in her tummy. It'll take just a fewwww minutes," in the same tone I use when talking to her. :)

About Me
- Mississippi Rose
- I'm a Southern gal raised in MS, married to my sweet Matt from MO, the busy mamma to 4 (soon to be 5)young children. I'm realizing more all the time how I am helpless to do anything for Christ on my own. Yet when I yield myself to Him and ask for His wisdom and His power to be the wife, mom, and woman of God He wants me to be I am amazed at how He gives it. And I'm finally beginning to really understand worship as more than a church service.
