"All have sinned"

Today my back was hurting (probably from spending most of my nights sleeping in the recliner with Cassie fast asleep in my arms) so I went to the chiropractor. I tried to find someone to watch the 3 older kids for me but others were as busy as I was. So all five of us went. I usually took all three kids with me there when I was pregnant, so they're used to going, but dislike it all the same. I make them sit on the sofa in the room where the spinulator (back massager) is while I let the machine work the kinks out of my back. Then we move to another room where Dr. David adjusts me and they chat with him while pops my back. The whole visit doesn't usually take more than about 20 minutes, but that's a long, boring time when you're a kid.

They did fairly well today and I told them so in the van as we were leaving. "I thought we'd go to McDonald's and get some fries and cokes since y'all did a pretty good job at Dr. David's. You didn't behave perfectly but you were pretty good," I told them. Camie piped up from the back seat with a reassuring tone and said, "That's because we're all sinners mama." I didn't even try not to laugh. She cracks me up!

About Me

My photo
I'm a Southern gal raised in MS, married to my sweet Matt from MO, the busy mamma to 4 (soon to be 5)young children. I'm realizing more all the time how I am helpless to do anything for Christ on my own. Yet when I yield myself to Him and ask for His wisdom and His power to be the wife, mom, and woman of God He wants me to be I am amazed at how He gives it. And I'm finally beginning to really understand worship as more than a church service.
