Camie and Lissy playing on the church playground a couple of weeks ago.

"Peek-dee-boo"

Matt's newest invention for kid-fun (and his fun, too).

Looking like baby Camie

Matt had to work only half a day today (Saturday), so he was able to play with the kids in the water this afternoon. He has rigged the hose and spray nozzle up to the trampoline so they can jump and play in the sprinkler all at once. And these are the kids who used to cry if they got a little water in their faces at hairwashing time. Now they run through the spray as if it were nothing. :)
I'm recovering well from the birth. Mom has been a wonderful help. The church ladies have blessed us with food every-other evening. They bring so much that it lasts two days, so we've stayed full and sassy. :)
Well, Daddy just announced to the crew that it's naptime. I can't really think with all the sobbing going on. Matt just commented, "That's so nice to have them come in the house, so happy after playing." (lots of sarcasm). Goodbye and goodnight.

I'm so happy to reconnect, Rose! The kids are precious! And it sounds (and looks) like you're doing well - I'm so happy for you!!

About Me

My photo
I'm a Southern gal raised in MS, married to my sweet Matt from MO, the busy mamma to 4 (soon to be 5)young children. I'm realizing more all the time how I am helpless to do anything for Christ on my own. Yet when I yield myself to Him and ask for His wisdom and His power to be the wife, mom, and woman of God He wants me to be I am amazed at how He gives it. And I'm finally beginning to really understand worship as more than a church service.
