Sweet Song, and Silly Stuff

I watched the video of this song on another blog and really like it.

On another note, Camie and Micah were playing "fighting" on the trampoline, and Micah hit Camie on the arm. She got mad and called him a "meaniac". :)

Lissy asked me if a pimple was something that dug underground. I guess she meant a weasel or a gopher.

I'm learning that with boys, you don't take it for granted that they put underwear on. I found out AFTER we got home from the library once that he'd gone skivvy-free to town in some rather loose-fitting shorts. And I think to church before too. As a younger lady, I heard about a little boy telling his mom, "Ha ha!I tricked you. I didn't wear any underwear to church today!" At the time I thought it was kind of funny, but probably not normal. Now I believe differently.

On the other hand, sometimes you have to make sure they have on only ONE pair. I walked into Micah's room the other morning where he was supposed to be dressing, and saw him standing in just his undies. But he looked ballooned out around the hiney. Then I realized he had multiple underwear on , and he was laughing about it. I sat on his bed and started peeling back waistbands to find out how many he had on, and with every one I thought I was surely at the last layer. Then I would see another one and start laughing again and he would cackle too. The look of delight on his face was so funny. He told me he did it to trick me. The final count came to nine pair. Boys. They sure make life interesting. :) But it's not just with underwear. One night he had on 3 pair of pajama pants, often wears two tee shirts, and for a while sported two pair of undies beneath a pair of boxers, with shorts atop all that. With girls it seems they change clothes all day long. Micah just does it all first thing in the morning. I sure am having fun learning about boys through our little man. He shakes things up around here.

Lissy may have gotten "pimple" confused with "mole."

About Me

My photo
I'm a Southern gal raised in MS, married to my sweet Matt from MO, the busy mamma to 4 (soon to be 5)young children. I'm realizing more all the time how I am helpless to do anything for Christ on my own. Yet when I yield myself to Him and ask for His wisdom and His power to be the wife, mom, and woman of God He wants me to be I am amazed at how He gives it. And I'm finally beginning to really understand worship as more than a church service.
