It's cold outside (probably in the low 30's) and Matt has a Missouri fire going in the wood heater.(I call it an MO fire because he builds it the way they did growing up in his homestate: pack the heater beyond belief with wood. This results in us all wearing clothes intended for August. CO-ZZZZZY!) He also made some hot berry tea, and to top it all up popped some popcorn in a pot and let the kids help/watch while I read Sara's blog. His evenings are usually busy and he and the kids haven't been getting to do stuff together, so this was treat for us all. Had to brag on my man. It's amazing how a few minutes "off-duty" can refresh me.
PS- I hear Camie describing what her pieces of popcorn look like: "This looks like a crab. This one looks like a spider!" And then when Matt says "Mine looks like popcorn" she and Lissy giggled even more. Oh, to be able to charm and joke like Daddy. :)

About Me
- Mississippi Rose
- I'm a Southern gal raised in MS, married to my sweet Matt from MO, the busy mamma to 4 (soon to be 5)young children. I'm realizing more all the time how I am helpless to do anything for Christ on my own. Yet when I yield myself to Him and ask for His wisdom and His power to be the wife, mom, and woman of God He wants me to be I am amazed at how He gives it. And I'm finally beginning to really understand worship as more than a church service.

Cute! Sounds like a fun time at home with family. I used to be fascinated when Grandpa would make popcorn using a popper instead of the microwave. Making memories.
