Micah, Camie, and Felicity at Palestine Gardens, back in October 2008
Tonight Matt and I are planning to go out with our friends Steve and Hannah to a Dessert Theater the highschool drama team is putting on. (For those of you unsure, it's like a dinner theater on a budget, thus only dessert.) Some of the youth from our church are in it. Matt had planned on us taking the kids, and I almost gave in when I found out ages 5 and under get in free, but I REALLY wanted a date with my man. Time together is hard to come by lately, so the fact that this is local, cheap, and something different sounded like the perfect ingredients for a date. When Hannah told Steve about it he said yes, he'd like to go as long as somebody babysat their kids (three boys and one girl all 5 and under). It was funny to both Hannah and me that he was the one wanting to go out. Usually it's the wife begging "let's get a sitter and go out. Pleeeease?" So four young parents with nearly 8 kids between them (I laugh everytime I think of that) are going to be entertained and served dessert by a group of highschoolers to regain some sanity. :) The catch is I've got to take the kids 20 minutes away from where the function is to get free babysitting, on the promise that we'll watch their kids sometime. :) Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Stuart says that Micah is handsome.
I know I don't have to say, "enjoy your evening out" because I know you will. (:
It was fun, eating a variety of sweets, visiting with Hannah and Steve, sitting on cafeteria seats, and being in pain at a few scenes of bad acting. :) But, hey, it was a DATE, and cheap at that. :)
