The kids and I were at a local gas station having a Krispy Kreme Donut snack in their little dining area this afternoon. The TV was on in the corner and an ad came on about saying no to drugs. The kids were watching it, not understanding it, but intrigued by the rough looking people on meth. When it was over, they asked what that was about. I told them it was talking about drugs and why people shouldn't use them. Micah, wide-eyed, asked in a very surprised voice, "Why not?!"
I said, "Drugs hurt your body...." when he smiled and interrupted with, "Ohhh. I thought you said you shouldn't use rugs, like on the floor."
Well, glad we got that cleared up.
Micah (5) and Lissy (6), glad we're not a Rug Free family, enjoying art supplies from Grandma and Grandpa Morris.

About Me
- Mississippi Rose
- I'm a Southern gal raised in MS, married to my sweet Matt from MO, the busy mamma to 4 (soon to be 5)young children. I'm realizing more all the time how I am helpless to do anything for Christ on my own. Yet when I yield myself to Him and ask for His wisdom and His power to be the wife, mom, and woman of God He wants me to be I am amazed at how He gives it. And I'm finally beginning to really understand worship as more than a church service.

The world will never again be as interesting as it is to a little kid trying to make sense of grownups.
Haha! Micah was wondering what new and awful turn his world was making! Your caption especially made me laugh. Also, your kids are inexcusably cute.
