I was getting on to Micah today for not listening when I was telling him to do something. He's usually more interested in making guns out of legos or pretending to shoot said guns. So this was just another instance of his tuning me out but pretending to hear me. His explanation for 'forgetting' what he was told to do:
"I listened, but then my brain went out of the listening part."
How can he know at 4 years old that the male brain is compartmentalized?! I love it. :)
