To put it precisely. . .

A quote I read tonight (this morning):
"I used to have a number of theories on raising children. Now I have a number of children and NO theories." (taken from a blog that took it from another blog.)

Long ago it was noted that the most vocal experts on child rearing were old maids and bachelors.

Haha! Love it. I try to curb my own advice giving since my experience mostly centers on four-year-olds. Plus it seems like my children love to prove me wrong. (: We took them out to dinner with us one night and met friends at the restaurant. Instead of getting a sitter we brought the boys with us since they usually liked mexican food. The comment that was my undoing: "We won't get a sitter since the boys usually behave here." You can guess how the evening went. (:

About Me

My photo
I'm a Southern gal raised in MS, married to my sweet Matt from MO, the busy mamma to 4 (soon to be 5)young children. I'm realizing more all the time how I am helpless to do anything for Christ on my own. Yet when I yield myself to Him and ask for His wisdom and His power to be the wife, mom, and woman of God He wants me to be I am amazed at how He gives it. And I'm finally beginning to really understand worship as more than a church service.
