Cowboys(girls) are in town

Mam gave Micah a cowboy set for his birthday. It is the new favorite toy in the house. Just now the three older kids came through the living room decked out in cowboy hat, bandanna, guns, holsters, sheriff badge, dispersed amongst the three of them. I heard Cowgirl Camie tell Outlaw(ess)Lissy, "I'm his wife, you're not his wife. And if I say it, you do it! And if I do it.....you say it!" How's that for emphatic? :)
At naptime Camie and Micah decided he needed a gun rack in his room for all his new stuff. I found a pink coat rack with heart shapes cut out in it that just fit the nails in his room. So for now his manly gift is hung on a rather girly hanger. Oh well. He beamed when it was up and all his stuff on display.

Two kids have aged a bit since I last posted. Camie turned 6 and Micah turned 3.

More later. We just got back from a week-long trip to Destin Florida. I've actually got pictures of this trip, unlike our WI trip, and even some cute videos. Maybe, MAYBE I'll get a post put up about this trip.
Gotta go cook. Matt's got class tonight. Hmmm. Sounds like a good time for a movie night for the kids. It helps the time pass faster till Daddy/Husband returns to us.

About Me

My photo
I'm a Southern gal raised in MS, married to my sweet Matt from MO, the busy mamma to 4 (soon to be 5)young children. I'm realizing more all the time how I am helpless to do anything for Christ on my own. Yet when I yield myself to Him and ask for His wisdom and His power to be the wife, mom, and woman of God He wants me to be I am amazed at how He gives it. And I'm finally beginning to really understand worship as more than a church service.
