Pain, pain, go away
Yesterday I felt better than I have in weeks. I could walk without looking like an old fat person (shifting weight from one foot to the other instead of really lifting my feet and bending my knees). I had looked online for some natural remedy for my pelvic pain, wondering if lavender lotion might help, or was even safe to use during pregnancy. I found a few references to some excercises that are simple, so I gave it a shot. WOW! I noticed nearly instant relief a few times. Just from being able to walk almost painlessly my energy level was much higher than it has been. I even started thinking about projects I wanted to do with the kids, and activities bags for preschoolers I read about and was having the sudden urge to make. I was cheerful, and this was with a 2 extra kids her from 8 am-5 pm, making a total of 5 kids 5 and under. Thank you Jesus, and thank you pray-ers. I also made a rice heating pad out of dry rice in a sock with the top stitched shut. I can microwave it for one minute and have heat on my lower back for 10 plus minutes while I walk around or sit. I'm so excited to feel better! Today I was looking up kids' cd's online and listening to samples. I turned it up loud and Camie, Felicity, and Micah and I danced and clapped, pretended to play instruments and had fun. Boy, it's been a while since Mamma's had active fun with her "chillins". I may be twice as sore tomorrow, but it was nice to relax and see them enjoying me play with them.

About Me
- Mississippi Rose
- I'm a Southern gal raised in MS, married to my sweet Matt from MO, the busy mamma to 4 (soon to be 5)young children. I'm realizing more all the time how I am helpless to do anything for Christ on my own. Yet when I yield myself to Him and ask for His wisdom and His power to be the wife, mom, and woman of God He wants me to be I am amazed at how He gives it. And I'm finally beginning to really understand worship as more than a church service.

Rosie! I'm so glad you felt better today. I hate pregnancy pain- except for the fact that it usually does something to usher along a beautiful baby. I hope tomorrow is just as pain-free. And I think I'll try your rice bag idea. Oh, wait, I don't have a microwave right now... (:
That's okay.. . Just put it in the oven. Just kidding. Don't do that. Bad idea. :)
By the way, this whole week has been wonderfully less-pained (not pain-less). I feel alive again!
