Christmas Cheer

Mom bought us a little set of Christmas figures like some she had displayed on a pretty plate with sugar for snow. I decided sugar on a centerpiece would be a bad idea at our house, so we went with poly-fill. Heavy snow in this village.
At the MomTime meeting last night our craft was these candleholders. I guess maybe this is a yule log, but since I don't really know much about those, mine is just a woodsy candleholder. :) Following is a series of pictures showing how three of our four responded to this new attraction. (I didn't get a good picture of Camie; it was blurry.)

The Woodsy Candleholder:
The (un-posed) sweety who helped me make and light it. She liked watching the flames.

Cassie tried blowing them out. Her blower doesn't work too well. More like a spitter.

And last, but far from least, our 100% boy observed them with a wild expression, opening his mouth as wide as possible (maybe getting ready to blow them out?) and had to see if it was hot. It was.

Merry Christmas . :)

About Me

My photo
I'm a Southern gal raised in MS, married to my sweet Matt from MO, the busy mamma to 4 (soon to be 5)young children. I'm realizing more all the time how I am helpless to do anything for Christ on my own. Yet when I yield myself to Him and ask for His wisdom and His power to be the wife, mom, and woman of God He wants me to be I am amazed at how He gives it. And I'm finally beginning to really understand worship as more than a church service.
