Prayer
Please pray for my friend Hannah's family. She, her husband, and the youngest three of their four kids were in a bad wreck yesterday. She thinks her tailbone is broken, and has various other bruises, seatbelt burns, and aches. Her 3 and 2 yr. old boys have fractured collar bones. Steve, her husband, hurt his knee. The 10- month old baby girl is the only one unhurt. Thank the Lord for rear- facing carseats. I wanted to cry this morning when she called to tell me about the wreck. Sometimes I naively think death doesn't scare me because I know I'm saved, but as she was telling me this, I realized I would've been very scared had I been there, and was feeling overwhelmed at the realization that some of my best friends could have been killed and taken from us in an instant. My heart is full of thankfulness for our Father's protection. Suddenly, nothing that I thought needed to be done today seems important. The two overflowing baskets of laundry needing to be folded, piles of yet-to-be washed clothes, gritty floor, more school work, grocery shopping, etc. seem almost like distractions. My husband, kids and friends seem much higher on the list today now. Thank you Jesus.

About Me
- Mississippi Rose
- I'm a Southern gal raised in MS, married to my sweet Matt from MO, the busy mamma to 4 (soon to be 5)young children. I'm realizing more all the time how I am helpless to do anything for Christ on my own. Yet when I yield myself to Him and ask for His wisdom and His power to be the wife, mom, and woman of God He wants me to be I am amazed at how He gives it. And I'm finally beginning to really understand worship as more than a church service.

Amy Davis just told me about it! I am definitely praying for them. It's always such a jarring thought when someone you know and love is in an accident.
I meant to call you yesterday to find out more. Ironically, I'm glad we're able to say "So sorry they got hurt!" because that's a hundred times better than the alternative. Glad especially that the kids weren't injured badly.
